this topic deserves a better section...LOL....
let me see: sony vegas 5 is old but I use it along with camtasia and adobe premiere CS3 (learning) and windows moviemaker is actually pretty bad ass broski.
each have certain advantages. por ejemplo: you can drag and drop clips from a desktop folder into premiere. Vegas has some interesting effects and compatibility with sound files
and camtasia has some nice tools and titling features.
As a fledgling film maker I am still hard at study on all of these apps.
